The following information is what you need to know when you are selecting a model/patient to come with you to the course.

Patient Medical History

Your model / patient should be medically well and should have good exercise tolerance. They should not suffer from any significant medical conditions. Specifically, they must not have any autoimmune conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis. They should not be on medicines or drugs that affect their tendency to bleed. Specifically they should not be on Aspirin, Clopidogrel or Warfarin. Your patient should not have any permanent facial products in-situ (either in the form of facial implants or permanent injectable fillers).

They should not have had any botulinum toxin injected within 4 months, and they should have indications for treatment with neuromodulators and dermal fillers. The indications, at our courses, for botulinum toxins are moderate to severe dynamic lines in the glabella and/or crow’s feet. The indications, at our courses, for fillers are facial volume depletion with a desire for facial volumisation.

All models / patients will be required to complete a full medical history questionnaire prior to attending the course which will be reviewed by a member of our team.

Patient Attendance

Foundation Courses

Your model / patient will need to attend the course at the appropriate time which will be advised when your attendance on the course is confirmed. Please explain to your model / patient that they may need to wait to be taken due to the nature of the training programme and also that they may be observed by other training candidates if you are partcipating on a group training course.

Other Courses

At some of our other courses, your model / patient will be needed shortly after the course starts. The refresher, intermediate and advanced courses all start with a short discussion about the course, and some courses will have a discussion about anatomy, physiology or aspects of ageing that are relevant to the course being taught. Thereafter the model / patient is asked to enter the clinical room where the course is being held. There may be a wait for your patient, so please explain this to them.

"I would thoroughly recommend Mr Shoaib’s training courses for this reason. His training methods are world class and I feel honoured to have trained with him."
