Our terms and conditions are as follows:

Payment terms

Our standard payment terms are that payment is taken at time of booking which will typically be at least one week in advance of training unless otherwise agreed in writing. All payments are made via PayPal via our website when registering and booking a course.


Eligibility

Due to the nature of our courses, our affiliation with major product manufacturers and our course recognition agreements with insurance companies we only offer aesthetics courses, including Laser Courses to medical professionals. Eligible participants are registered nurses, doctors and dentists and at the point of booking you will be asked to supply your registration number for your professional body.


Credit terms

We do not offer credit terms on our training courses, nor do we have finance options via loan providers available to fund training courses.


Course bookings

Bookings may only be made via the La Belle Forme Training Institute website.


Cancellation Policy

Should circumstances mean that you must cancel your course and are unable to transfer your booking to another date at the time of cancellation, the following cancellation fees will apply:

If you cancel your attendance at a course and do not rebook, giving notice of more than 15 days, we will refund you 75% of the course fee.

If you cancel your attendance at a course and do not rebook, giving notice of less than 15 days, you will receive no refund.

All cancellation notifications must be in writing and sent via email to training@labelleforme.co.uk and the cancellation terms will be effective based on the date notification is received by La Belle Forme.

The above is subject to the provisions set out in the Online & Distance Selling compliance requirements

Refunds and partial refunds will be issued through PayPal.


Rescheduling of Courses

From time to time, we may need to change some aspects of courses. Whilst we try and do this as infrequently as possible, occasionally, due to circumstances out with our control, we reserve the right to change venue, speakers, trainers, course content and dates. If we need to change the course date or venue, which prevents your attendance then we will offer you a full refund.

On occasion, unforeseen circumstances may require us to cancel a course. In such circumstances, you will be given as much notice as possible and either a transfer to another suitable  course date or a full refund.

All refunds will be issued through PayPal.


Non-attendance

If you do not attend a course, and you have not previously informed us, the full course fee remains payable, and no refund will be given.

If you arrive late for a course or are absent from any session during a course once it has commenced, we reserve the right to refuse to accept you for training if we feel you will gain insufficient knowledge or skill in the time remaining. In such cases, the full course fee may remain payable, depending on the cause for such occurrences. In this case the decision to refund all or part of the course fee, or to offer participation on a future similar course remains at the sole discretion of LBF


Late arrivals/missed sessions

VAT

All course fees are subject to the current VAT rate (valid exemptions only). VAT, where applicable will be added to the ticket price at point of purchase.


Online & Distance Selling Compliance

LBF comply with the guidance set out in the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and the Consumer Rights Act 2015, which governs the rule regarding online purchase of our training services.


DDA Compliance & Special Requirements

La Belle Forme operates its training courses from The Glasgow Day Surgery Centre, 154 Clyde Street, Glasgow, which is a fully compliant DAA facility. If a delegate has any special requirements these should be identified to the course coordinator at the point of booking, including any dietary requirements where refreshments and food are provided


Data Processing

All information that we hold concerning you and any model you choose to bring to a training course will be held and processed by La Belle Forme strictly in accordance with the provisions of the Data Protection Act 2018.

Such data will be used by the organisation to administer our relationship with you as a customer on our training courses.

You agree that the information you supply to us may be used as follows:

  • To check your registration with the appropriate regulatory authority.
  • We will pass your data to pharmaceutical companies that supply prescription medicines and medical devices, used on the training courses who may contact you to offer product support.

Models

For many of the practical courses there is a requirement / opportunity to have a model attend on whom you can utilise your newly acquired skills.  It is the responsibility of the delegate to source an appropriate model for the course being undertaken and for the treatment that will be administered.

As the model is undergoing a medical aesthetic procedure they will be treated in the same way as standard LBF patient will be required to complete a full medical history questionnaire, review and sign the appropriate Patient Information Leaflet, which gives a detailed explanation of the treatment and on the day the model will be required to sign a consent to treatment.

It is the delegate’s responsibility to arrange suitable follow up for the model after their treatment during the training course.

If a delegate is unable to source a model LBF will endeavour to source a suitable model, there will be no additional cost for this service.

The decision on the suitability of an individual model will be at the sole discretion of the LBF trainer on the day of the course. In the event that a model is deemed unsuitable the trainer will organise for the delegate to attend with an alternate model at a mutually agreeable date to complete the practical session.
